Hey this website is great. I wish my tribe was set on the list of them i am Aluet/Athabaskin. I love painting native art and placing animals on peoples personalities through painting.

My husband is a member of Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. I am trying to collect as much history as possible on this particular tribe for my 2 month old son so that he can learn and embrace his Native American heritage.

I am searching for the history of the Susquehannock. I found this wed address but i'm looking for much more. I was adopted when I was eight years old and a few years ago my birth mother contacted me and said I was Susquehannock. However, to my dismay I found that "my people" no longer exist and hadn’t for several hundred years. What I want to know is/are there anymore of the Susuehannock descendents left and if so how would I contact them to sort out my lineage. Still I find curious why my birth mother would tell me that I’m Susquehannock.

I have always been interested in Native American History, but one tribe is dear to my heart. The Sioux. This is a great site to gain further information from regarding the 'injustices' done to all the Native American Tribes. If I had one wish it would be to put right those injustices.
