Whats your takeon the Mexican population as indigenious and related to southwest usa native americans, shouldnt they be counted in the census and written in history as native americans in the USA, even according to mexico university more than 87% of mexicans in north america are native american and not spanish. It would make the the indigenous people a stronger voice and isnt the Nahuatl dialect language used in canada all the way through middle america el salvador..knlolwdge is power, peace out.

My father was from Warwick, Rhode Island although I now live in Australia. Family legend says my father's grandmother was a pure Narragansett indian woman. I am interested in this part of my heritage and have very much enjoyed reading through your site. Thank you for your efforts and time - I will continue to visit - may the Earth Mother bless you all

Thank you so much for a very concise history of the TRUE Americans. I am only 1/4 Cherokee and have a true interest to help all American Indians. Every one that I have ever met has been a true spiritual inspiration to me and I can only hope that the injustices to these wonderful people can be mended.
