I was adopted when I was eight years old and a few years ago my birth mother contacted me and said I was Susquehannock. However, to my dismay I found that "my people" no longer exist and hadn’t for several hundred years. What I want to know is/are there anymore of the Susuehannock descendents left and if so how would I contact them to sort out my lineage. Still I find curious why my birth mother would tell me that I’m Susquehannock.

Message:I found this to be a very interesting site.I am also interested in more information on the Chickasow horse. I have been looking for horses that might would have been in the Sheandoah Valley 1850's and before very few breeds were formed at this time, but I work at a living hisory museum and we work alot with the rare breeds assosiation and would like to find out if these horses played a part in making up of some of our breeds today or rare breeds. If you could help that would be great.

Thank you very much,

Message:I am amazed with the indian art and I have done quite a few pieces myself. I have made things that are just beautiful and I have made my own meaning to them.I would love to share these items with people but do not know where to begin. I have sold a few pieces to people i know, but thats not enough attention for me, please respond to me. I would like to know if you have a newsletter or some sort of monthly news letter you send out, Thanks Linda Socia
